Administrative details and procedures for Citi's health and insurance benefit plans can be found in the Administrative Information section. (Administrative information about the Citi Retirement Savings Plan is included within the Citi Retirement Savings Plan SPD section.)
The health and insurance benefits plans information in this Benefits Handbook is broken up into sections, including:
- Spending Accounts (including the Transportation Reimbursement Incentive Program [TRIP]);
- Glossary; and
The Benefits Handbook contains the official documents for your Citi health and insurance benefits plans. It describes these benefits available effective January 1, 2024. Visit the Archives section for health and insurance benefits available prior to January 1, 2024.

Citi Retirement Savings Plan
Saving for retirement is an important consideration for all of us. Citi offers the Citi Retirement Savings Plan (the "Plan") to encourage you to become an active participant in planning and saving for your financial future. This Benefits Handbook also includes the Citi Retirement Savings Plan Summary Plan Description (SPD) which describes the details of the Plan effective January 1, 2024. You can download the Prospectus here.
In the Citi Retirement Savings Plan SPD, you will find information about topics such as:
- Vesting; and
The Citigroup Pension Plan
The Citigroup Pension Plan was frozen effective January 1, 2008. If you were employed prior to January 1, 2007, you can download The Citigroup Pension Plan Summary Plan Description here.
Note: If you were not a participant in the Plan on December 31, 2007, you will not become a participant or have a benefit under the Plan.

Health Advocate is not affiliated with insurance carriers or health care providers and does not share your information with Citi. You and your entire family can use Health Advocate, regardless of whether you are enrolled in a Citi health plan. Health Advocate can help you take control of your health care issues, including resolving insurance claims and billing issues, making appointments with a hard-to-reach specialist, and understanding issues related to prescription drugs, such as comparisons between generic and brand-name medications.
